Covergirl-Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation Review

Hello dolls.  I have been using this foundation since late February and have been totally obsessed with it, so I knew I had to get a proper review up on it for you guys.

I know that most of you have probably already heard about this foundation, but I just wanted to give you my two cents too.
This is a new foundation released from Covergirl, and prior to this I never really paid any attention to foundations from Covergirl.  But, I had seen so many reviews on this foundation from Youtube gurus that I follow, so I knew I had to pick it up-especially because I had just run out of my Wet 'n Wild tinted moisturizer earlier this year.

What it claims:
It is a little bit pricey for a drugstore foundation-I picked this up from Target but you can get it anywhere for around $10-12 depending on where you go.  I feel like it definitely does do what it claims-it didn't disappoint at all.

It does come with a pump, which is great for sanitary purposes.  I got the shade Medium Beige, which is honestly a little light for me, but that's okay because I am able to bring back more color to my face with bronzer and blush.
It is a medium to full coverage foundation, which was really a heaven sent because my skin has been so hormonal lately.  I have been off of my birth control and my skin just went whack.  The tinted moisturizer just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Upon first use, I was amazed at how well it covered.   It definitely covered all of my redness, concealed undereye circles, and gave me a matte finish.  I have oily-combo skin and so matte finishes are a dream for me.  Bam.  I was hooked.
I know that it claims to have a built in primer, but I still use my L'Oreal primer underneath anyways, just to be extra safe.  I teach all day long, and don't have time to be running to the bathroom to blot and powder.  This foundation lives up to the hype.

I use about two pumps for my face, the second pump is what I use to go over any other blemishes and build on problem areas.  I have been using my $3 Elf flat top powder brush to apply this and buff it out and I am just in love with the combo.  It is going to make it onto my March favorites list, so watch for that post soon.

I have been wearing this foundation every day since I got it and choose it over my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation, which I got at the same time.  I don't know if I will continue to use it in the summer months, just because it might be a little bit too heavy but I will continue to use this foundation til then.

Have you tried this foundation yet?  What are your thoughts?

Love,

  1. I have heard nothing but good things about this foundation. I'm glad it is working for you. I have such a hard time finding the right shade when it comes to drugstore foundations. I do have a MAC foundation that matches my complexion pretty well though.

Hmmm...off your bc - does this mean your son will be getting a brother or sister soon? :)
