Spoiled-Jewelry Heist

Hey there dolls.  Here is what I am wearing today:
This is from Spoiled, in Jewelry Heist.  This polish has been on my wish list for forever, so I am glad that I finally found it.  I decided to wear it by itself to fully appreciate it.  This is just three coats that I am wearing.  It dried fairly quickly and is soo pretty.
I did have to pat some of the glitter on though as the suspension base is pretty thick.  I found that if I let it dry a little bit on the brush, it was easier to get more glitter on the nail, but that means I also have to paint in thicker coats.

Nonetheless, I still adore it and I will probably layer it over black to see more sparkle.

Essence-Grey-t to be Here

Hello friends.  Here is what I wore on my nails today:
This is from Essence, in Grey-t to be Here.  This is a very pretty polish for just .99 cents.  I zoned in on it right away because of the shimmer.
Do you own this pretty polish?

Spoiled-Trust Fund Baby

Hey dolls.  Here is what I slapped on my nails today:
This is two coats of Sally Hansen's White On, your standard white creme, and two coats of Spoiled's Trust Fund Baby.  I love this glitter bomb combo.
I thought glitter over black was something else, but white and glitter is amazeballs too. My new favorite combo, so quick and easy to do.  (So prepare for some more posts!)  Still lots to do, so talk to you loves soon!

Transitions

Hello dolls.  Sorry I haven't been as punctual with my posting these last few days.  I have been super busy and blogging has sort of taken a back seat (just for now).

Here is what I have been working on:
Before:
 After Day 1:
Yes, I have my own classroom!  I got a job teaching third grade (part-time, in the mornings) at a local school earlier this month.  I was just able to finally get into my classroom last week Friday because I was on vacation.  It was a little overwhelming when I walked in, but I was super excited to see the changes at the end of Friday.

Here is some DIY decor that I put together for my classroom.  I decided to go with a rainbow theme for my room, as it was too late to do anything else.

I made a yarn-wrapped wreath and hot glued kanzashi fabric flowers that I made to it.  It's hanging in my classroom already, so I will have to take a better picture of it if I remember.
 Kanzashi Flowers before the wreath:
The picture frame idea came from Pinterest.  I would link it for you all, but I didn't pin it onto my account because I was just doing a quick Google search at the time, and now I can't find it. If I do come across it again, I will link it.

I will take more photos as soon as I unpack more boxes and organize a little bit more.  I went in on Saturday and was there from 9 this morning til 6:30 tonight trying to get ready for Open House on Wednesday.

I am super stoked and am really just a ball of nerves.  This is my first year teaching and I just hope that I don't make too many mistakes.  Wish me luck!

Zoya-Kendal

Hey dolls.  Here is what I am wearing on my nails:
This is from Zoya, in Kendal.  It is a muted, dirty lavender creme.  I applied three coats for these photos and topped it off with Seche Vite.
My nails look like hell after spending several days without anything on them while on vacation.  As soon as I got home, I slapped on some polish to make myself feel better.

This is only my third Zoya, and I would love to try more.  Do you like this brand?

Polish Haulin'

Hey dolls.  Here are the polishes that I picked up while on vacation:
17 new polishes in all.  I was glad to see some of the Spoiled polishes being sold in Walgreens in Florida, because where I live, I could never get them.

The China Glazes, Sally Hansen, Zoya and Essence polishes were all bought at Ulta.  They were all discounted, save for the Essence polishes.

Did you get anything new this month?

New Brushes

Hey dolls.  I am finally back from my vacation and catching up on housework as well as blogging.  Here are some new make up brushes that I picked up this month:
Sonia Kashuk Angled Brush from Target:
Sonia Kashuk Powder Brush from Target:
 The Icing Powder Brush:
 Real Techniques Powder Brush:
 The Icing Kabuki Brush:
I just wanted to share pictures today.  I am most excited about the Real Techniques brush as I had seen them featured on a lot of blogs earlier this year.  The most expensive brush in this lot is the Sonia Kashuk angled brush, which was I believe around $12 at most.

Anything new with you guys?  I have more pictures to post up from my trip but more on that later.

Love,
