April-Dollar Tree Finds

Hi dolls.  Here is April's Dollar Tree Finds post:
Yeah, only two things I picked up this time.  First up, a Bonne Bell concealer.  I have been completely obsessed with concealer lately, and so this caught my eye.  At first, I thought it was lip balm!
I got the shade Warm Beige, as this is most suited for my skin tone.  It is a small, twist up tube.  I honestly don't have a whole lot of expectations for this concealer, but maybe it will be a nice surprise.  It claims to be oil free as well.
What it claims:
I didn't swatch it because I had on some self tanner today, and didn't want to compromise the color.

I also found the Goody spiral bobby pins.  I picked up the ones for dark hair.  These are interesting looking, huh?  I don't know if they will work for my hair, and I've never tried them before.
I have thicker hair, and usually have to use a ton of bobby pins to hold down an updo or a bun.  Maybe these will be useful?  It's too early to tell.

The back of the package gives you some simple instructions on how to use them, and there are more pictorials inside the packaging.
That's all that I got from the Dollar Tree this month.  Did you find any treasures?  I keep looking for the Sinful Colors that have been popping up, but no such luck yet!

Shimmer-Lorac Palette Look

Hi dolls.  I'm a bit behind in my April postings with the Dollar Tree sightings and Obsessed with posts...I'll try to get those up later today or tonight.

I just wanted to pop in quick and say hi to my new followers, I've noticed my numbers changing.  :)

Today I wanted to show you the other eye look that I have been doing with the Lorac palette:
Here are the colors that I used:
I took champagne as the all over lid color-and then used Taupe as the outer v and crease color.  Champagne has a lot of fall out though because of the glitter, so pat on the color rather than sweeping it on.

Then, I took Cream as the highlight color and popped Nude right onto the center of the eye to really make it stand out.

Can you tell that I have been really enjoying my Lorac palette?  :)

Sinful Colors-Neptune

Hello dolls.  Today, I am showing you Sinful Colors Neptune, from the Cast Away collection last year.
On my ring finger, I used OPI's Which Witch is Which, from the Oz collection.  Can I Just say that I love this polish?  This is the only polish that I got from that collection-the others were kind of meh
If you can't tell, there is a bunch of bar glitter in Which Witch is Which, but it's small bar glitter which I LOVE.  Regular bar glitter is kinda annoying.  It always manages to hang over the edges of my nails or stick up.  :/  This polish did none of that.  Yay, OPI!
But, back to Neptune-it's gorge, no?  I love the tiny flakies in it and it's such a rich blueThis is one beautiful polish.
Did you guys pick up anything from the Oz collection?

China Glaze-It's a Trapeze!

Hi dolls.  So, I know that I already showed you this polish, but I forgot to include the photos that I shot when I wore it all by itself.
So today's post is going to be short and sweet.  Last time, I had worn a white creme underneath it.  This time, I wanted to see how it would look worn all by itself.
I really appreciate that you don't have to go fishing for glitter with this polish.  It's such a great formula!  The glitter is very dense and the white milky jelly just showcases it perfectly.
One of my favorite polishes of the year.  :)

Sinful Colors-Feeling Great

Hello dolls.  This is an old Sinful Colors polish that I have had in my stash for a while.  It is from the core line, so you should be able to find it anywhere.
This is Feeling Great, a bright pink creme.  It's not an extra ordinary color by any means, and if you have lots of pinks already, you don't really necessarily need this one as well.
I had to paint at least two coats for these photos.  Then, I topped it off with Seche Vite.
I think of all the polishes that I have, I have the most Sinful ColorsThere is a whole drawer dedicated to them, and they are often on sale, which makes the collecting thing get out of hand a little bit.  Just a little, though.  :)

Lorac Palette-Smokey Eyes Look

Hi dolls.  Today I wanted to show you a smokey eye that I created using the Lorac palette I recently picked up.
Here is the look that I did:
This was more a neutral smokey eye, but very easy to do with the gorgeous colors from this palette.  I only used four colors to create this look:
Pewter is the all over lid color, and the outer v and crease colors are a combo of Mauve and Espresso.  Cream is the highlight color.
The key is just to blend and marry all of the colors together so that it's seamless.  I loved how it came out, and really have been obsessed with this palette since I have gotten it.
I have another look yet that I want to share with you before this month is out, so watch for that one soon.

The weather is finally beautiful out where I live.  It's definitely starting to feel like Spring!

Sally Hansen-Back to the Fuchsia

Hi dolls.  So today I am showing you my nubs again.  I kind of forgot how they looked like.  :)

On my new nubs is Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Back to the Fuchsia.
Back to the Fuchsia is a bright pink with lots of microshimmer running through it.  I think that the shimmer is what makes this polish interesting.
I never have any trouble with the Complete Salon Manicure line polishes.  I find that they are really easy to work with and they have a great range of colors.  I just hate the price point on them...so expensive for a drugstore polish!
Anyways, this is still available from the core line, so you should be able to find it anywhere.   I picked this up before the entire line was revamped, so I was able to get it at a deep discount.

What do you think about expensive drugstore polishes?
