Jelly Sandwich

Hey dolls.  I hope you all had a good Valentine's Day.  Here is what I am wearing today on my nails:
This is a fun jelly sandwich that I did because I was sad that I couldn't find the China Glaze Cirque de Soleil polish in It's a Trap-eze anywhere in my area.  By the time I got there, they were already all gone.  :(
This certainly isn't the same, but it has almost the same effect.  I love how bright and fun it is!  It almost looks like those giant jawbreakers I had as a kid.

I used Essie's Marshmallow and a no name glitter polish from Forever21 to create this look.  Marshmallow has already been featured on my blog-but it's so unique in my collection.  If you're looking for a white jelly polish-Marshmallow is the way to go!

Love,

Essie-She's Pampered

Hey dolls.  I got a new polish from Essie to show you guys today.  Well, new to me, anyways.  This lovely red creme is She's Pampered, from the Leading Lady collection.
This color was released pretty recently if I remember correctly, so I was surprised to see it show up at TJ Maxx already for just $4.
This was an easy two coater, topped of with one coat of Seche Vite.  I do adore red nails, simple and at it's best, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Essie-Infatuated

Hello dolls.  Here is what I am wearing on my nails today:
This is from Essie, in Infatuated.  I got this color from TJ Maxx this summer for just $4.  Infatuated is a bright fuchsia creme.
This was an easy two coater, with no bubbling or streaking.  I wasn't going to reach for it but with all of the snow coming our way this week, I decided I needed a pink pick-me-up.

Always,

Essie-Tennis Corset

Hey there dolls.  Here is what I'm wearing on my nails today:
This is from Essie in Tennis Corset.  I picked this up from a bin at TJ Maxx for just $4 this summer.

I first put this over Sally Hansen's White On-my go to white creme because it looks so thin in the bottle.  It did add some subtle shine to my nails, but not over the top.  I like.
I was curious as to how it would look like on it's own so I did put it on all by itself too:
This was thin, as expected so this was about four coats on my nails.  It still has visible nail line as you can see, but offers a very pearly glow that is very pretty.

Do you like this over the white creme or all by itself?

xoxo

Essie-Exposure

Hi dolls.  Here is what I swatched for you all today:
This is from Essie, in Exposure.  I picked this up from TJ Maxx for $4.
Exposure is a great, bright pink creme.  I had no problems with this polish or application.  The color is not particularly exciting but it's still a fun shade.  To spice it up some more, I took my Spoiled polish in Pet my Peacock and did an accent nail on my pointer.
Sorry about the inconsistent posting lately.  Life has been getting in the way.  I have my September Running on Empty post in the works, so watch for it.

xoxo

Essie-Absolutely Shore

Hey dolls.  Here is what I am wearing on my nails for you all:
This is from Essie, in Absolutely Shore.  It is a beautiful minty creme.  I got this from TJ Maxx for only $3.99.
I did have trouble with the formula though.  It is rather streaky and uneven.  I had to do at least three coats to try and smooth everything out, and even Seche Vite couldn't take care of the leveling.  *sigh*  Maybe next time, I will have to try again with more careful application.  Did any of you have as much trouble as I did with this polish?  Regardless, I got several compliments while wearing it out and about.
 Love,
