OPI-The Living Daylights

Hi dolls.  Here is the glitter that I picked up from the OPI Skyfall collection, The Living Daylights.
The Living Daylights has blue, orange, silver and gold hex glitter in a clear suspension base.  I like this combination.  It's very unique.
 Bottle Shots:
On the nails it reminds me of a mermaid or goldfish even.  The flash of orange and gold, with the aquamarine blue.  So pretty.
I am wearing three coats for these photos.  I had no problems with this pretty polish.   There is plenty of glitter to go around and you don't have to pat with the brush.  I like that.
I like wearing this by itself though it would look very pretty layered on over a black or white creme.  What do you think?

OPI-Skyfall Bondettes Minis

Hi dolls.  I did end up going back for the minis, and here they are:
I picked up the mini set because I wanted three of the four colors anyways GoldenEye, The World is Not Enough, Live and Let Die.

Plus, with all of the nail polish that I have, I will never ever go through a full bottle.  These minis are so cute and perfect to get more bang for your buck.  I paid $12.50 for this set.
Left to Right:  The Spy Who Loved Me, GoldenEye, The World is Not Enough, Live and Let Die
The Spy Who Loved Me:

The World is Not Enough:
Live and Let Die
Bottle Comparisons:
The only complaint that I have about the minis is that they are not labled with the names, which means I will have to keep the packaging.
Swatches of each will come on their own.  I was too busy this day to do them all.  Did you pick up anything from this collection?

Always,

Halloween Look

Hi dolls.   Here is what I did for my Halloween look this year:
I wanted to wear my mask that I blogged about earlier this month, but it was going to be cumbersome to take on and off so I decided to play up my eyes some more.  I wasn't very creative and just did leopard print like last year but only on the eyelids this time.

My mask had rhinestones on it, so I accented my eyebrows with three clear rhinestones from my nail art kit.  I just attached them using lash glue.

I just used my Naked palette2 for the shadows.  I kept it simple because I wanted the leopard to pop.  I also used my new CoverGirl lipstick in Flame to play up my lips.

My outfit consisted of a white peplum top and a black lace pencil skirt, with silver studded rhinestone pumps.  I decided to accessorize using this pearl necklace and the dangly pearl earrings.

What did you end up doing for your night out?

China Glaze-Glitter Goblin

Hi dolls.  Here is what I am wearing on my nails today:
This glittery confection is from China Glaze's recent Halloween collection, in Glitter Goblin.
I am wearing three coats of Glitter Goblin for these photos.  It applied beautifully.  I did have to do a couple of topcoats in order to get rid of the bumpiness though.
By using the glue method, removal was super duper easy.  I literally just peeled it off my nails in one sheet.  If you haven't tried this yet, you have to!  It's made wearing glitter so much easier to deal with.  Check out my post on it here.

Love,

October-Currently Obsessed With

Hi dolls.  Welcome to this month's edition of Currently Obsessed With!  I know I missed the last few months, but there wasn't really anything really spectacular that stuck out at me.  That all pretty much changed this month!

Orly Nail Amor
Wow!  I love how this has real silk fibers in it.  I use this as a basecoat and usually use two coats.  It also dries really fast, which is a plus.  I will definitely repurchase this when it runs out.

L'Oreal Project Runway blush in The Queen's Blush
&
This blush is so pretty.  I wasn't really happy upon first swatch, but as I said in my previous post, it actually wears beautifully.  I have been wearing it pretty much everyday since I got it.  To apply it, I have been using my Sonia Kashuk powder brush, and just swiping and blending out on my cheeks to the templeIt lasts all day when I'm teaching and I don't have to worry about it being too bright or work appropriate.

Studded Bow Earrings from Old Navy
I am obsessed with bow jewelry and it was no exception when I spotted this lovely pair of earrings at Old Navy.  Also-can I just say thankyousomuchOldNavy for finally getting accessories!  They have super cute stuff that reminds me of H&M costume jewelry

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioner
What it claims:
I have been using this every other night because my hair was feeling a bit crunchy from using my straightener almost every day.  I have backed up off of the heat tools a bit, and have been treating my hair with much more respect.  lol.  By the way-I love how Garnier Fructis products smell.  Almost good enough to eat!

Rue21 etc! Perfume
I picked up this perfume over the summer on a bit of a whim.  If you've ever shopped at a Rue2, you'll know that the sales people always push their perfume lines at you when you check out.  I always just smile, take a whiff and then politely pay for my purchases.  But this time, I was suckered into it because I looove how it smells!  It reminds me of fresh apples!  Some people might find it too sweet, but for me it's not overpowering or so sickly sweet that it gets nauseous.

It's not the longest lasting though.  Whenever I wear it, my third grade boys always tell me that I smell good.  lol.  And third grade boys do not lie.  :)

This stuff is so awesome.  I seriously only need a tiny pea size amount to get soft and supple cuticles in the morning.  I love it!  I  keep moving it from the side of my bed to my nail area because I use it every day.

Target-Black Boot Wedges
I made the husband buy these for me when I spotted them at Target this last week.  Soo cute!  I love the detailing on them too and the lace up bootie style is so rockin'.  I wore them with black skinnies and a black sweater dress so far.  Looking for more ways to style them and show them off!
What have you been obsessing about lately?  Do tell!

KleanColor-Holo Blue

Hi dolls.  Here is what I am wearing on my nails today:
This is another holo from KleanColor, aptly named Blue Holo.  And what a holo it is.  *sigh*
Another steal for just $2.50.  I am wearing three coats for these photos.  We have been having seriously crappy weather here, so no sun again today.   These are taken under my Ottlite and lightbox.
One of the other teachers grabbed my hand today and asked what I was wearing.  She called it glitter.  I told her holo.  lol.  I love it.
