Essence-Chic Reloaded & Glitter Gradient Look

Hey there dolls.  I have been loving the glitter gradient look with the silver glitter.  Here is another combo that I came up with last night:
The darker, duochrome polish is from Essence, in Chic Reloaded.  I love how it shifts from emerald green to a dusty purple, but I really don't have the skills to show you that shift in these photos.  :(
I love how it looks like it's jewel encrusted!  Gah!  So pretty right?  I know.  This might be one of my top favorite looks ever!
I used my LA Girls polish in Double Platinum for the ring finger, about three coats and as a base for the larger, silver hex glitter gradient
The larger silver hex glitter is from Color Club in Platinum Record.  What do you think?  Do you love it as much as I do?

Here is an up close bottle shot of Chic Reloaded so that you can better see the awesomeness that it is:

Wet 'n Wild-Wild Shine in Red Red

Hello dolls.  Here is what I put on my nails today:
I decided to stay away from the pastels today and do a bright, cheery red.  The red I chose is from Wet 'n Wild's very affordable Wild Shine line in Red Red.  This polish is only $1.99 and has been featured in Cosmopolitan magazine as a Cosmo girl Beauty Award Winner.
And why not?  Look at this beauty!  It applies flawlessly and with zero problems.  I only did two coats here for these photos.
Then, I did a glitter gradient with some silver glitter that I pulled out from my drawers.  Doesn't it look festive?  I used my Color Club glitter in Platinum Record for the larger, silver hex glitter and my LA Girls glitter in Double Platinum for the smaller sized glitter.
Something that I wouldn't mind ringing in the new year with.  What do you think?

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Color-Beyonce's Red

Hi dolls.  Here is the review and pictures of the lip color that I was sporting in the photo below as promised:
This lovely, red lip is from L'Oreal Paris in their Infallible line.  The name is simply Beyonce's Red.  I picked this lippie up from Ulta this month because Judy, from It'sJudyTime had reviewed this lip color and touted it as one of her favorite red lipsticks.  I was also in luck when I bought it as it had been marked down to clearance.
As you can see, it is a beautiful color.  I love how it glams up my look, and I feel instantly sexier whenever I wear red lipstick.
As far as packaging, it is a little bit bulky, but that is because it has two parts to it.  This isn't your traditional swipe and go lipstick.
As you can see, there is a red tube and a white tube that makeup the product.  Both tubes slide up, out of the silver packaging for use.

The red tube is where you get the color from.  This slides up and twists off.  A slanted, doe-foot applicator assists for precise application of the product.
It is best to apply this product in thin layers, as it needs time to dry before another coat is put on.  The product itself is very creamy, but it also dries almost instantaneously on the lips if you apply in thin layers.  Therefore, I like to stretch out my bottom lip-almost like I'm smiling as it dries, to make sure that there is a nice even layer and nothing cakes up in between the lips.

After you have built up the red to your liking, the white tube on the other side of the package includes a clear lip balm to condition and moisturize.
This adds a nice, glossy texture on top of the lip color as seen below:
I prefer to wear it without the clear balm on top just because I like a more matte look whenever I wear red lipstick, but I did find that you need something  on top later because this lipstick can be very drying.

I wore this out for drinks with some girlfriends, and by the end of the night, my lips looked shriveled and painful.  Adding the clear balm on top brought my lips back to life.  Therefore, I would not recommend that you leave this product at home if you are expecting to stay out for a couple of hours.  You definitely need to bring it along for touch ups.

In terms of wear time, it did last pretty long but I noticed that the inner corners wore off first.  It is kiss proof, which my husband likes and it's not messy-which means you don't have to worry about whipping out a mirror each time you take a shot or a drink.  :)
So would I repurchase this?  I wouldn't mind trying out another color from the range, but I don't think that I would buy this particular color again.

Do you have the courage to rock red lips?

Kisses,

Ulta-Baby Doll

Hello dolls.  How are you all today?  Here is what I put on today:
This is from Ulta's line in Baby Doll.  I picked this up earlier this week with a coupon.  Baby Doll is a beautiful light pink creme.  It applied like a dream and with no problems.
I am wearing three coats for these photos, topped off with Seche Vite.  The pastels are what I have been loving so far this season, even though they are technically more Spring colors.
