Kmart WnW Makeup Haul *pic heavy*

Hello lovelies!  This month has been all about Wet 'n Wild so far!  Ready for some more?  :)

Today I wanted to share with you all what I got from Kmart.  I made a special trip just for the Kmart Wet 'n Wild sale this week, buy one-get one FREE!  Yes, Kmart has done it again!  All Wet 'n Wild products are on sale til Saturday so if you have a Kmart near you, go check it out!  I had to drive an extra 30 minutes out of town just to get to my nearest Kmart- but it was so worth it.

I wanted to see if Kmart had a display of the new LE DreamWeavers collection from WnW, but no such luck.  I am so glad that I found out about this sale though, because I wanted to get my hands on more of the eye shadow trios from the permanent line.  See what I got from Wet 'n Wild last time Kmart had this crazy sale here.  Anyways, here are the new trios that I added to my collection.  I think now I am only missing a three or four-correct me if I'm wrong.

I also got two of the 6 pan palettes that I don't own yet--Pride and Lust.  These palettes come with three matte colors and three shimmer colors.  Perfection in a palette.  I had seen TinaMarieOnline do a fabulous tutorial from Lust so I knew I had to get it.  See her tutorial here.  But I was sad when I got home because I noticed that one of my shadows had cracked during the ride back.  :(

 Pride
I also got two more blushes to add to my collection.  Here are Mellow Wine and Heather Silk.
WnW blush:  Mellow Wine
WnW blush: Heather Silk
I also stocked up on my favorite liquid liners, WnW MegaLiners in Dark Brown.
That is all that I got this time from WnW.  I didn't do swatches of all of the shadows and blushes today because I'm sure that you have seen them before.  I might include them in the future when I attempt to do a look with each of the shadows.  So please be sure to check back or follow me for daily updates.

While I was at Kmart I got another Milani baked blush, this one in Luminoso.  I love how pretty these look and the chic packaging.  I actually haven't even opened up the one that I got last time (in Dolce Pink) from my previous Kmart haul so I will do a review on both of these in a future blog post.  This blush comes with a hidden compartment that holds a blush brush and a mirror for on the go application.
 Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
Physicians Formula products were also 40% off at Kmart so I picked out this Pearl highlighter.  This was around $8 after the discount.  I think that the packaging on this is gorgeous, if a little bit bulky.  I love how the palette almost mimics an oyster and the pearl detailing all throughout.  Like the Milani blush, this also holds a separate compartment that holds a brush and a mirror.  I would use product this to highlight the tops of my cheekbones or use it over blush. A more in depth review will come at a later time.  :)
Physician's Formula Pearl Highlighter
I also picked up a new-old mascara.  I say new-old because I have used this mascara before and just haven't gone back to it in a long time.  This is the tried and true pink and green tube of Great Lash from Maybelline.  I also snagged some rip-off coupons from the display for $1 off any Maybelline New York mascara, so I used one to get this mascara, as my Lash Stiletto is on it's last leg.
I've just forgotten how huge the brush is apparently.  Ever since Lash Stiletto I have decided that I like smaller brushes because I have sparse and little lashes.  Big ones like this always just end up poking me in the eye.  :/

Anyways, that concludes this makeup haul.  I only spent around $30 for everything here, and saved around $25 because of the buy one get one free deal.  I highly encourage you to check this sale out if you are a WnW fan.   Btw-have you seen the new DreamWeavers collection anywhere yet?  I'm lemming for those as well now.  :)

Haulin' love,

LE Wet 'n Wild Vanite Quads

These palettes first came out earlier this year, but I just spotted them on display now at my local Shopko.  Even better, they were marked down on clearance to only $2.54 each (regular retail=$4.99).  There were only three of the four available that were released on display, I'm Ba-roque, Queen Victoria and I Reign Supreme.

Anyways, I thought that I was already getting a deal with these quads, but when I was checking out, I noticed that they were ringing up for only .99 cents each!  Sweet!  I went back today and got two more for future give-aways/contests.

These quads have two shadows and two lip glosses in them.  I usually don't like this combo because residue and fall out from the shadows can find their way into the glosses.  But because these were limited edition, I decided to go ahead and purchase anyways.

Wet 'n Wild quad: I'm Baroque
Wet 'n Wild Quad:  I Reign Supreme

Wet 'n Wild Quad:  Queen Victoria
Let's take a closer look at I'm Baroque, shall we?
The top two are shadows and the bottom two colors are lip glosses.  These shadows are super pigmented and very soft.  I love the color combos that come in this palette, especially the soft shimmery rose-gold shadow on the right.  I'm not overly excited about the glosses.  These are just so-so.  They feel super sticky so I don't know how much I would actually use them.
I Reign Supreme is pictured below.  This one has a shimmery black shadow and a silver shadow on top. Also included is a shimmery pink gloss and a sheer red shimmer gloss.
Queen Victoria quad swatches pictured below.
This quad has an iridescent purple shadow, and a dusty pink shadow.  Also included is a sheer mauve lip color and a sheer glittery red stained lip gloss.  You can see the iridescent purple shadow swatch better in the second picture.  Very pretty.

Again, these shadows are very pigmented.  I can't wait to use them to create different looks.  The glosses are something that I might use if I'm in a pinch.  The little brushes that come with the quad aren't the best, as most aren't, but would work well enough for on the go application.  I wouldn't toss these into my purse though because I wouldn't want to risk the chance of the shadows breaking and getting all over the glosses.  Yuck.

I still can't believe I lucked out and got these three quads for such a great price.  I did end up going back and picking up two of the three quads for future give aways/contest prizes.  I got I Reign Supreme and I'm Ba-roque stashed away, so stay tuned (or better yet-follow me via GFC) for updates!

Frosty Purple & Pink - Tutorial

Hello everyone.  Since I've gotten my Naked palette, I have been neglecting colors.  I decided to do a look today with the baked eye shadows that I bought from Sally's Beauty from last month.  See that blog entry and pictures here.

Here is a quick tutorial for you all to show you what I did to create this look.  I also used all of the baked shadows with a wet brush to get better color pay off.
1. Prep lids with primer.  I used UDPP.
2.  Take a brush and wet it with water.  Wipe off excess water before dipping it into baked shadow.
3.  Using the pink baked shadow,
apply only to the inner corner of eye.
4.  Take the lilac shade from Palladio and
sweep all over the rest of the lid.
5.  With a clean angled brush, take the darker purple color from Sally's Girl and add it to the outer V.  Blend it into the lilac color.
6.  Go back and blend.
7.  Go back and intensify any colors with a wet brush.  Blend.
8.  Add matte white highlight under the brow bone.  Blend into colors that you just laid down.  Bring matte highlight down near tear duct as well.
9.  Line lids with liquid liner.  I used a dark brown liquid liner.
10.  Add false lashes.  These are from F21.
 Finished look:
I love how pearly the finish is on these shadows, but you do have to use them wet, wet, wet, to get a more intense color.  I also really like this look.  Purples are my favorite color to wear on my lids.  What's yours?

Wet 'n Wild Dream Team

I picked up these Perfect Couple duos when I stopped in Walgreens to refill my prescription.  Some of the colors packaged together with the top coat I already had in my collection, but these colors jumped out at me.

Gray's Anatomy, a purpley, green and blue duochrome.  This was paired with the Fast Dry topcoat and retailed for $1.99.  This was a great deal because these polishes usually retail for $1.99 by themselves-so it's like getting the topcoat for free!
Gray's Anatomy
I also got this duo, Everybody Loves Redmond.  This is a creme finish in a bright orangey red color.  Another pretty color for a summer pedi.
Unfortunately, there are no new colors that come in these Perfect Couple packages.  Have you seen these in your local drugstores?

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro-Cherry Fashion

I clipped a coupon at the doctor's office from the magazine, All You.  Is that anyone's pet peeve?  Taking coupons from mags that don't belong to you?  Sorry if I stepped on any toes.  I just couldn't resist.  It was a buy one get one free coupon.  Who in their right mind wouldn't rip out that page?

Anyways, the coupon was for buy one get one free of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro nail polishes redeemable at Walmart.  From my previous posts, I have recently discovered these polishes and I really like them, even though I lean more towards the creme finishes from this line.

So I headed to Walmart to do my weekly grocery shopping and scope out the beauty section to redeem my coupon.  I picked out this color in #360, Cherry Fashion.  It doesn't hurt that it has the word cherry in it either, but trust me, it was the color that called to me first, not the name.
This is a bright magenta color, almost red but not quite.  Cherry red?  I don't know.  It's very pretty.  I love it.  Below is two coats of the color and topped with one coat of Seche Vite.  Pretty, no?
On nails:  Cherry Fashion
The only thing that I can gripe about is how long it lasts on my nails.  It claims to be a ten day wear polish but on day three I had chipping already.  I can't stand it when my mani chips.  :/

Fashionable nails,
