Wet 'n Wild Megalast Lipsticks

Hi dolls.  Here is my little collection of the Wet 'n Wild Megalast lipsticks.  These are just $1.99 from the drugstores and come in quite a range of colors and finishes.
Some of these are matte lipsticks, which means that they can be drying on the lipsI notice that this is true especially for the lighter colors, numbers 902C and 903C are extremely hard for me to wear if I don't exfoliate first and add a gloss on top-which kind of defeats the purpose of being a matte lipstick.

The darker colors though, are very pretty and are good quality lipsticks for what they're worth.  The darker colors are more creme finishes and will also stain your lips, leaving behind a wash of color as the color diminishes.
 Swatches on lips:
These were all swatched straight from the tube, with no liner or primer underneath.   I had a really hard time photographing Doll House Pink, #967, and had to fiddle around with different lighting and my other camera to get a decent photo.

903C and 967 required careful application because they were so milky.  I had to blot and reapply before photographing for you.  Also, 911D and 918D appear and apply more glossy.  Some people say that 911D is a dupe for Mac's Ruby Woo, but I don't think that it is.  It's too glossy, and I think the red blooms too much to be considered a dupe.  I can swatch them side by side though for you guys if you are interested.
My immediate favorite colors are 918D and 908C, the darker vampy colorsI can't wait to rock these on a night out.  Also, some people say that 908C is a dupe for Mac's Rebel too, but I don't have that color so I can't say for sure.  My least favorite is Doll House Pink, #967 because I just don't think it looks right on my skin.

I don't like the rounded applicator though on these lipsticks because they make getting into the corners of your mouth and cupid's bow tricky when applying.  Going slow and steady is key when applying straight from the tube, especially because some of the colors are prone to skipping across the skin because of the fact that the formula is really dry.  Of course, you could also break out a lip brush, but who has time for that?  Another thing that I don't like is that there aren't names for all of these lipsticks.  Most of them are just numbers.

Overall, I do recommend these lipsticks if you are looking for a deal.  These have great pigmentation, are easy to get and cheap!  What do you think?  Do you own any of these lipsticks?

Kisses,
