Festive & Shimmery - EOTD

Hey dolls.  Here is another festive look I created using the Wet 'n Wild Comfort Zone palette.

This time though, I used though I used colors from the left side of the palette.  *sigh*  I go through fads with these palettes.  I play with them for a while and then they get tossed to the side whenever I get a new one.  Just like toys.  Resolution for 2012: More usage, less buying.

Anyways, to create this look, I used the all over lid color first.  Then, I worked the crease color into the outer v and blended the color towards the center of my lid.  I thought that the shimmery highlight color was overkill, so I opted for my Max Factor single in BFF instead.

Looking back at this close-up shot, I realized I could have blended out more.  Live and learn.  I didn't want to bring any of the color up too high because I wanted this to be daytime appropriate.  The falsies were an afterthought.  I wanted them to be wispy and look very natural instead of all out-glam. 

On the lips I used L'Oreal's Project Runway lipstick in Sultry Raven's Pout and then topped it with CoverGirl Amazemint lipgloss in No Care Bear.

This has become one of my favorite lip combos.  A perfect marriage.

Are you done with your holiday shopping yet?  I just started yesterday-and hopefully- will finish today. *sigh*  Sometimes I am just too good at procrastination.
