Elf Holiday Blotting Papers Pack

Hi dolls.  I like scoping out makeup deals when the holiday season rolls around for some really good deals.  I picked up these new blotting sheets from Elf at Target while I was holiday shopping for $3.
For $3, you get three packs of blotting sheetsThese are different from the regular $1 packs that I usually get, as these three are infused with tea tree, green tea and aloe.
I like to keep a pack of blotting sheets in my purse at all times because I get so shiny as the day wears on, and I already like the $1 packs, so I thought I would give these a try.   There are fifty sheets in each pack-which is quite a substantial amount.
Here, I took the tea tree pack to open up and show you guys what the sheets look like:
The sheets are a little bit thicker than the regular $1 packs-which means it doesn't tear as easily.  The darker green dots, I suspect, are the bits of tea tree ingredients.

What it claims:
Well, I don't know about the hours claim, but it does absorb quite a  bit and really quickly.  Blotting is a must for me each day when I wear makeup, so these will last me quite a while too.

What are your favorite blotting sheets?

Khroma Collection-Khloe's Kardazzle Matte Eye Shadow Look

Hello dolls.  Here is another look that I did using the Khroma makeup palette that I bought:
This look was created by using only the matte colors from Khloe's Kardazzle.
I took shade #3 and used that all over the lid, then swept on #2 to blend upwards towards the brow.  I took #1 and put that on the inner corner and blended it out onto the middle of the lid.  Shade #4 was used to darken the outer corner and shade #1 was brow highlight.  Pretty predictable, I know.
The lashes are from the Khroma collection, the ones I had pictured in my last blog entry:
The band is a little thicker, but nothing too bad.  I like the length and they are pretty comfortable, not too heavy or too long.  I didn't have to trim them at all when I wore them.
Overall, I think that the Khroma makeup line could have been stepped up a notch.  I was expecting a lot more, and to be honest, my Wet 'n Wild shadow trios have way more pigmentation for a whole lot less.  I don't think that I will be purchasing anything else from the collection, save for false lashes.

Always,

LA Girl Fruity Scented Polish-Sparkling Peach

Hello dolls.  Here is what I put on over the Sally Hansen polish I was sporting yesterday:
This is from LA Girls, in their scented line.  I picked this up on clearance from a department store, and was surprised to see that they even carried anything from the LA Girls line.  This is one of my first polishes from this particular line.
It smells like fizzy peach soda, but it doesn't last very long.  Maybe because I only did one coat?  In some lighting, it made my nails look really yellow because of the white base.  Not terribly pretty in real life-but in photos it shows up more pearlescent.

Sally Hansen-Ivory Skull

Hello dolls.  Here is what I am wearing today on my nails:
This is from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line, in Ivory Skull.  I picked this up from Target on clearance for under $2.  I suspect it was part of a Halloween collection-thus the name Ivory Skull.

Turns out, I could have done without.  This is just your standard white creme.  I did two coats for these photos, topped off with Seche Vite.  No problems with application either.
I guess everyone needs a backup white creme though.  What's your favorite white to use?

Love,

Khroma Collection-Khloe's Kardazzle Eye Look

Hi dolls.  Here is a look that I created with the Khroma palette that I picked up this week.  With this look, I only used the shimmery shadows on the bottom.
The shadows I used are labeled down below for reference.  I took shadow #2 and used that all over the lid.  Then, I took number #1and put that on the inner corner.  With shadow #3 I blended it into the outer corner and darkened it with #4.  I also used shadow #1 as a brow highlight.
I finished the look with my Wet 'n Wild black liquid liner and Red Cherry false lashes.
Overall, the shadows were easy to work with, but pigmentation wise-nothing to write home about.  I also should mention that there isn't a lot of fall out with these shadows, which is a plus.  But if you blend too much, the colors can become muddy.

Back to the real world again tomorrow.  Are you ready?

xoxo
