May-Running On Empty

Hey dolls.  Here is May's edition of Running on Empty!
This month I ran out of 9 products total.  Keep reading to see what they all were!
The Tresemme conditioner and Pantene shampoos are regulars in my Running on Empty posts, so I'm going to skip over them this time around.

Let's get on with body stuff first, before moving onto the makeup!

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanner
I already reviewed this product on the blog, so I'm not going to say much about it here.  I don't like how this fades away-it's very blotchy and uneven.  If you use too much, it also makes you look very orange.  Also, the smell is horrible, like bad men's cologne.

Repurchase?  Not likely.

BBW Body Lotion in Coconut Lime Breeze
This smells so yummy, like Key Lime Pie.  I bought this last year on sale.  I just really like how lime and coconut pair together.  It's a delicious combo.

Repurchase?  I liked how this particular one smelled, but I think that I'm going to stick to the lotions that come in the tubes instead from BBW, as they are much more moisturizing.

BBW I Heart Watermelon Apple Antibacterial Foaming Soap
As much as I like coconut and limes, I love the scent of apples so much more.  Maybe it's a teacher thing?  I don't know, but this foaming soap smelled like candy.  Yummy.  And for a foaming soap, it certainly lasted quite a while too.

Repurchase?  Yes, from this line, I think that I would.

CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
(Medium Beige)
This has been my HG foundation ever since I reviewed it for the blog.  I'm so sad that I'm out of it!  I even tipped it over and left it on my bathroom counter like that so that I could use every last drop.  Can you tell by the scrapes on the bottle?  Yeah...I loved it.

I was supposed to wean myself off of it for the summer, but I think that I will continue to use it all throughout!  It's one of those foundations that just look better as the day goes on.  I love it.

Repurchase?  Yes, I went and bought another one earlier this week because I couldn't be without!

ELF Glossy Gloss in Ballet Slippers
This was a rare Dollar Tree finding a while ago.  I wish that I would have bought more of this shade.  It's a pretty pinky nude gloss that is just perfection for me.  It's sticky and thick, but in a good way.  I find that it wore so well and would last at least a good two hours on me before wearing off.  Other glosses wouldn't stand a chance, because as a teacher, I'm constantly talking and moving my mouth. lol.

I do have other shades from this line, but this one was my favorite.

Repurchase?  Yes.  I think that I would repurchase this shade, even for $3.  It lasted a long time and it's got good staying power for me.

Wet 'n Wild MegaGlo in Catwalk Pink
I have had this product forever.  I use it mostly as a highlight color though, instead of blush.   It's been used and abused, and dropped quite a few times.

I could still use whatever's left of it, but I have so many highlighters that I need to get through, I decided to toss this one into the bin for this month and be done with it.  It's certainly inexpensive and not hard to find, so I'm not feeling that remorseful over it.

Repurchase?  Probably not.  Too many products-too little time!

H2O Spa Seaweed and Mud Mask
I purchased this from TJ Maxx a while ago, and also reviewed it already for this blog.  It can be a little harsh on your skin at first, especially if you have sensitive skin.  I found that the first time I used it, it kind of stung, but my skin has gotten used to it.

I use it once a week, usually on Sundays.  I like mud masks, but this one I could live without.

Repurchase?  No.

That's about it for this month's edition.  What did you run out of this month?
Love,

  1. I bought the H20 mud mask last year and when I tried it, it was burning my face that I washed it off right away. Haven't used it since.

I use that Tresemme conditioner too, along with the shampoo. I love them because it gets the moisture in as well as affordable for such a big bottle! :)

I've never tried that foundation. Is it full coverage?

    1. Yes, it is full coverage. Try it, especially if you are an oily gal. You might like it. :)

  2. I have heard great things about CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation...I don't wear foundation because I haven't found one that I love yet. I should really try this. I feel like I rarely run out of anything except the essentials.
