Hey dolls.  I went back to that salon that I told you about earlier this week and I got more OPI.  I'm trying again on Sunday because that is the last day that they are open so I'm hoping for even better discounts.

Any other colors you would recommend for me to pick up?

Boots No. 7-Odds & Ends

Hey dolls.  My Target is currently remodeling and upgrading to be a Super Target, which means tons of stuff is being clearanced out to make room.  I found these items from Boots No. 7 with the red clearance sticker for under $4 each!

I picked up a bottle of cuticle oil.  I have been meaning to get some, but at Sally's it seems ridiculously overpriced for such a small bottle.  I was lucky to have snagged this.  I also love the vintage vibe that all of these products have.
This cuticle oil comes with a standard dropper that I find to be a little too large.  It starts dripping oil as soon as I take it out from the bottle, so I have to make sure my cuticles and nails are ready to go when I'm using it.  Other than that, no complaints.
This cold cream was a last minute thing.  I don't like to do a lot to my skin other than clean it.  I struggle with finding a lotion that I can use everyday and doesn't break me out or suffocate my pores.  Maybe this will do the trick?  If not, I'm donating it to my mom.
Lastly, I picked up this cleansing milk.  I opened it and read the directions for use while in the store and was intrigued.  I like lazy makeup routines, why not do the same for when I want to take it off?  Will try this and do a proper review for you all as soon as I can.

Michael Kors-Very Hollywood

Hey dolls.  Picked up a new fragrance at a deeply discounted price ($11 @ Target!) for myself.  This is Very Hollywood by Michael Kors.
As there were no testers at the store, I did not know how this would smell like.  But at $11 I took the chance.  My reasoning was-even if I didn't like it, it would still make a nice gift for someone else!  It's a good thing I like it though!

Top notes in Very Hollywood:
  • Mandarin
  • Gardenia
  • Vetiver
And what Fragrantica has to say about it:

Very Hollywood is a new fragrance by the house of Michael Kors which arrived on the market in September 2009. This sophisticated, floral fragrance incorporates aromas of mandarin, frozen bergamot, moist jasmine, raspberry, ylang ylang, gardenia, iris root, creamy amber, white moss and vetiver.

Very glam.  I find it a little strong at first, but as I wear it throughout the day, it starts to grow on me.  :)
 Smell ya later,

Sinful Colors-Tutu

Hey dolls.  Here is one of the new colors that was recently released by Sinful Colors.  This is Tutu:

 Bottle Shot:
This is a sheer cotton candy pink.  One coat would be great for a french mani.  I used two coats in these pictures.
I found this color mixed in with the Valentines Day display by Sinful Colors.  I also picked up Bare and most of the other colors from the display.  Those will be featured in an upcoming post.  :)

Did you pick up any new colors from the recent .99 cent sale?

Bath & Body Works-Haul & Random Things

Hey dolls.  I don't know about you, but I love the Wall Flowers from Bath & Body Works.  After using these, I have never purchased anything else.  I always stop in and pick up a bunch whenever they have a sale, especially after the holidays.

Currently, my house smells like Mint Chocolate.  This is such a yummy smelling Wall Flower, that I bought the dual holder last month for twice the scent.  As you can see, I recently ran out but I just replaced it with two more of the Mint Chocolate.
I picked up some of the new fragrances while I was there along with two new Wallflowers:
I am a big fan of their foaming hand soaps because they smell so awesome.  One always sits by my sink.  Here are six more that I picked up (I bought 2 of the cherry one):
 B&BW foaming hand soaps:
Then, my supervisor for student teaching gifted me this mini hand lotion trio from Bath & Body Works. This was so thoughtful of her.
I don't have any of these scents yet so I'm looking forward to using them.  And because these are mini-size, I can just throw them into my purse.

This mini body spray was on clearance so I picked it up from under $2.  I bought it because Midnight Pomegranate was my favorite Wall Flower scent, but it has long been discontinued.  Insert sad face here. :(
These are just a few of my favorite things from Bath & Body Works.  Are you a fan of anything from there?

Love,

Essie-Shine of the Times

Hey dolls.  This is my first Essie polish- *gasp* and it's a flakie!  This is Shine of the Times:
I layered this amazing polish over a darker polish to showcase how really beautiful this flakie is.  Just look at the color transitions!
This was on the second day of wear so I have slight chipping.  Some people asked me if I was wearing crackle-which mildly offended me.  Crackle?  On moi?  Um...  No.  *_^

Did you pick up a bottle of this or are you sick of the flakie trend already?

OPI Haul

Hey dolls.  I stumbled upon a salon at the local mall that was going out of business.  Bad for them, awesome for me- because all of their OPI polishes were 30% off.  I got ten new polishes in all-including two from the Nicki Minaj collection and the two from the Holland collection.
L-R: Big Hair Big Nails, Red Lights Ahead...Where?, Charged up Cherry, I'm Indi-a Mood for Love, Ate Berries in the Canaries
L-R: Thanks a Windmillion, Don't Mess with OPI, Save Me, Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous, Metallic 4 Life

These were going for around $6 each after the discount.  These are my first OPI polishes that I have purchased-and after taking a look at them, I can't believe that I choose colors that were all in the same family. :)  So predictable.

Also picked up a shampoo and conditioner because they were discounted at half off.  I have always wanted to try these shampoos but pricey at $13 and up.  I was lucky to try both of these for under $12.
Anyways, you can expect swatches of each of the polishes in upcoming posts.  I've got Red Lights Ahead...Where? already swatched for you all.  I'm also thinking of stalking the store to see if their polishes get even more discounted this coming week. :)
